This could happen, for example, if you install Windows 8 on an SSD drive.
If any system has already been installed, then the window will look something like this:
You can repartition the hard drive into the number of partitions you need, or leave it as is and simply select the partition on which another system was previously installed. Typically, this drive is called "Local Drive C:". Partition letters are not displayed here, but the required disk is easily calculated based on the specified dimensions.
