The video quality from the tablet's camera is not so great, especially when zooming in. Perhaps the distance and cloudy weather are to blame, but I still think that the tablet is simply not intended for these purposes.
DISADVANTAGES OF THE TABLET, IDENTIFIED DURING TWO MONTHS OF OPERATION
Disadvantage 1. During busy work, you can feel significant heating of the case in the upper left corner.
Flaw 2. Wide screen bezel (especially at the top). She doesn’t bother me in any way, but for some reason my husband is unhappy with her.
Flaw 3. Rare system freezes. I noticed several times that the tablet does not respond to touches immediately, but after a few seconds. It’s difficult for me to say what exactly this is due to: the operation of the tablet itself or problems with the Internet. Perhaps the reason really is the unstable Internet, since freezes occurred while being online (for example, when moving from one window to another, scrolling up and down a page, etc.). By the way, my husband did not notice such lags.
Shortcoming 4. No fast charging. It is not comfortable.
Drawback 5. Relatively slow loading when turned on.
Shortcoming 6. Weak rear camera (only 8 megapixels). We rarely use a tablet for photography, so this is not a decisive moment for us.
Now I’ve written all this and I’m sitting there freaking out, thinking, is it really that bad? In fact, the listed disadvantages do not bother us at all. If I weren’t so harmfully nasty, I wouldn’t find fault with these moments. I just considered it my duty to tell you about them.

Thus, you don’t have to worry about the tablet slipping out of your hands, which, unfortunately, is the problem with many other gadgets. In the middle of the back panel of the Lenovo TAB 2 A10-30 there is a small company logo, it’s the same, but in smaller size, duplicated on the top frame of the screen. But let’s get back to getting to know the cover: at the top you can see the large lens of the rear camera, and on the sides of it there are speaker grilles. But, by and large, these are the nuances that you can put up with, especially since there are no complaints at all about the other characteristics of the screen.
In particular, I would like to note the excellent brightness and contrast, because these indicators are very important for a high-quality image. The output colors are rich and realistic, that is, color rendition is at high level. By the way, thanks IPS matrix they do not change even at an angle, which is also very nice. There is no oleophobic coating, the display is covered with fingerprints, but this is a problem with all touch-sensitive gadgets, there’s nothing you can do about it. By the way, the screen supports up to ten simultaneous touches, commands on it are executed immediately, no slowdowns or freezes.
It’s hard not to pay attention to the speakers, or more precisely, to the grilles that hide them – they are too noticeable. Dolby Atmos technology is responsible for the sound and, in general, we have no complaints about it. Considering the relationship of this Tablet PC to the budget segment, you shouldn’t hope for perfect acoustics, but what you have will definitely please you. The bass may not be very audible, although overall the sound is clear and does not deteriorate even at maximum volume. By the way, we strongly advise against placing the device on a soft surface, otherwise the sound will become muffled.
The device has two webcams. The front one has a rather modest resolution - 2 megapixels, which, however, allows you to easily communicate via Skype. With the rear camera the situation is much better: here the resolution is 5 megapixels, there is autofocus, so the user will be able to take very good pictures, however, only in daylight.
Keyboard and touchpad
A keyboard dock is not included in the package, but this is still a privilege of more expensive models, and even then, not all of them. However, no one forbids using virtual keyboard, which is ideal for web surfing. It is easy to use given its simple and intuitive interface. In the center of the case there is a logo of the manufacturer, and at the bottom there is a sticker indicating the date of manufacture, serial number, IMEI number, as well as information about the need for use charger with current 5V 1A.
There are no control buttons on the left side; there is only a compartment hidden under a flap for installing a memory card and SIM card.
On right side Volume control buttons and device power on/off control buttons are installed.
At the top end there are jacks for connecting a headset and a micro-USB cable.
There is only one main microphone at the bottom end; there is no additional one to provide noise reduction.
Screen
The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30HC has a glossy IPS display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels and a pixel density of only 170 ppi.The indicators are quite modest; grain in the image is visible to the naked eye. As for brightness, contrast, saturation, here things are much better - the presence of a good matrix has an effect.
Horizontal viewing angles are quite high - about 160-170 degrees. There is a little less vertically, but color inversion is not noticeable, only the brightness decreases, hence the readability deteriorates.
This model does not provide automatic brightness adjustment. There are also no problems with reading outdoors in sunny weather.
The disadvantages include some thoughtfulness of the sensor or its not entirely adequate behavior. It happens that it works every other time.
The sRGB color gamut indicators turned out to be less than the reference value, but only slightly; the color rendition of this specimen is on par.
During games, the tablet heats up a little, but everything is within acceptable limits, there is no discomfort.
