What tools are needed to repair a phone. How to open a phone repair shop? Phone disassembly tools

Even a novice master will not be able to cope with solving the simplest problems if he does not have certain ones “at hand”. Especially if the specialist intends to do restoration electronic gadgets, communications. Let’s say right away that cell phones cannot be restored “on the knee”; you will have to incur certain material costs to arrange the workplace. We will not engage in a list of ultra-modern devices; in the framework of the article, we will present only a set of the most necessary things for a professional.

Hand tools

Let's start with the most basic and simple - with classical instruments. In the list we present the main types that you really can’t do without:
1. You will need to purchase. Moreover, flat and cross-shaped options of several “running” sizes will be required. Don't forget to order torx screwdrivers. As for the size, it must comply with standards from T5 to T7. It’s also a good idea to purchase a kit with interchangeable nozzles. In this case, there will definitely be no problems with disassembling the case or other components of the device.
2. When collecting a set of repair tools, do not forget about such an important thing as a scalpel. It is with its help that you can very easily clean tracks and wires. Try not to skimp on the accessory—jags will appear on a budget item pretty quickly.
3. You will definitely need a pair of tweezers. Look for a standard sample and one curved one that will allow you to reach hard-to-reach elements.
4. An eraser pencil, made in the shape of a classic pencil, will definitely come in handy. With its help, it is easy to clean oxidized contact coatings. You will need a little time to tidy up your badly neglected contacts.
5. Don’t be surprised, but experts often use toothbrushes to deal with minor oxides when working with “recessed” smartphone models. Great efficiency can be achieved in combination with a special liquid, called a wash by service specialists.
6. The holder in which the board is firmly fixed greatly facilitates the work process. It is easier for a person to do delicate work when a small fragile element is fixed.

Power supplies

Quite often, visitors bring broken gadgets to service centers in a completely discharged state. Be sure to have a charger available that can charge any battery. In this case, there will be no difficulties when testing the performance of the electronics.

Take care of your order. Often during testing there is an urgent need to power the phone from the power supply in order to track the corresponding operating parameters. This element is also very important if the smartphone battery is completely unusable or absent. Choose a product with the following parameters: output voltage within 0 - 15 Volts, current at least 1 Ampere. It is necessary to order samples equipped with indicators, because only in this case will it be possible to accurately record certain operating parameters. As professional workers at specialized centers advise, preference should be given to devices with dial indicators; they are much easier to read when testing.

Soldering equipment

You will have to spend significant amounts of money on a soldering device, additional tools from this series and related accessories. So, here is a small list of working tools from this series:
1. Be mentally prepared for the fact that the standard one will not save you. You will need to select a special soldering station. Only with its help can you achieve stunningly accurate results when it is necessary to solder chips or when it is necessary to replace filters. Modern hot-air models significantly facilitate the work of the master; thanks to the high degree of reliability, the service will provide long-term guarantees when performing complex tasks.
2. Experts advise buying BGA stencils; at the same time, you need to stock up on BGA paste. As practice shows, these are the elements that will be required when carrying out particularly delicate work. As for choosing a pasta brand, rely on your preferences. Some find it convenient to work with a thick paste; many masters prefer a more liquid modification.
3. As you can see, not only tools for repairing phones are needed, you should also consider purchasing dozens of “little things”. You will probably need a no-clean flux gel. The substance boils at a very high temperature, so it is indispensable when mounting chips in elements such as BGA packages. Why is the product called no-clean? The fact is that it is characterized by a complete lack of chemical activity after soldering is completed. Accordingly, there is no risk of further damage to components as a result of corrosion. In addition, additional protection against moisture is provided.
4. A convenient addition will be a special braid, which makes it much easier to remove solder. The process of removing excess is greatly simplified and takes less time.
5. Not as a main device, but as an auxiliary device, you will need a regular electric soldering iron with 40W characteristics. It is needed when working with large discrete components that have significant heat dissipation rates. This accessory is indispensable when preparing mounting points for charging connectors and other similar elements.

Magnifying devices

Another expensive purchase will be a microscope. Even a person with excellent eyesight cannot do without it. It is used to examine boards and other small parts. With its help, particularly delicate, critical work is performed that requires maximum visual strain. In addition, look for several magnifiers of different powers. They will be a great addition to a stationary device. Sometimes it is more convenient to examine a detail in your hands.

Measuring instruments

Identifying a complex breakdown using experience alone is not at all easy, and sometimes impossible. To achieve the goal, you will need special equipment for telephone repair, which is used to test the functionality of communications. This section presents devices that will help you quickly identify a malfunction:
1. The first most important thing is the multimeter. This is one of the main examples that allows us to identify technical problems. As for the model line, there are no special recommendations here. The main thing you need to focus on when searching for a product is the accuracy of the readings. You can judge this by reading the opinions of real users.
2. It is problematic to restore a sunken smartphone without an ultrasonic bath. No fine scrupulous cleaning by special means won't help the situation! It is quite possible that you will restore the means of communication, but it will not work for very long. Guarantees should be given only if there is a special bath. Thanks to ultrasound vibrations, it is possible to achieve phenomenal results in seemingly hopeless situations. Practice knows many cases when in this way it was possible to restore hopeless “drowned people” for many years. The secret of effectiveness is quite simple - this is how the effects of oxides and the manifestation of sulfations are destroyed. Impeccable board cleaning quality is not difficult to achieve; to do this, you must follow the manufacturer’s standard recommendations.
3. An oscilloscope will provide significant support in solving complex problems. It is capable of measuring and then displaying various types of signals, showing operating amplitudes. In this case, too, there are no special recommendations. Top tip- try to choose a sample with fairly accurate readings.
4. Essential repair tool mobile phones today it is an ordinary computer, or a laptop. Don't chase high performance, fashion model. Better spend these funds on diagnostic products. Make sure to install the appropriate software, to make it more convenient to work when flashing phones. It is impossible to foresee all situations, so you will definitely need Internet access to download programs and data.
5. You will need a certain set of programmers; there are a great many of them at the moment. There are universal products designed for communication means of several brands. There are narrowly targeted samples designed to work with a single manufacturer. There is no clear recommendation for choice. It is necessary to take into account the preferences of potential clients in the area where the service is located, and listen to the opinions of more experienced colleagues.

When choosing the equipment you like, never be in a hurry. Always compare it with other items produced under a different brand. Compare cost, performance, accuracy, ease of use. Don’t be lazy to get acquainted with the responses of consumers who have already formed their own opinion about the capabilities of a particular device. Then the risk of error in the selection process will be significantly reduced.

Today, smartphone and tablet repair services are in great demand. Even in small towns and villages there are four or five mobile equipment repair shops, and many newcomers feel like they can’t get through. In reality, this is not the case at all.

If you want to try your hand at this, then you can start small, namely, acquire a minimum set of tools for repairing smartphones and tablets. And then the question arises, what to buy first? Let's talk about this.

Of the devices and materials that are most often required when repairing smartphones and tablets, I would highlight the following:

The list turned out to be small, since I tried to indicate only what has been most often used in practice over the past few years.

As you grow, if the need arises, you can purchase other, more expensive equipment: a microscope, laboratory block power supply, infrared soldering station, bottom heating station for circuit boards, ultrasonic bath, laminator, autoclave, etc.

Digital multimeter.

This means that it takes longer to heat the microUSB connector, and, consequently, the printed circuit board. Because of this, it can warp, it can swell, and delaminate. What complicates matters is that there are miniature SMD components nearby, such as resistors and capacitors, and sometimes an optical sensor or SMD LED. If exposed to excessive heat, such components may melt and become unusable.

To reduce the melting point, Rose alloy is used. Before dismantling the connector, all its contacts and soldered areas are “diluted” with a drop of Rose alloy using a regular soldering iron. Thanks to this, the solder in the soldering areas begins to melt at a lower temperature, and, therefore, we can quickly heat it with a hairdryer and dismantle it. In this case, neighboring elements and the printed circuit board do not have time to heat up too much.

Also, the Rose alloy will help out, for example, when installing a new digital microphone on the board. The fact is that a digital microphone is a rather sensitive component and is terribly afraid of overheating. Therefore, you can solder it onto the board using Rose alloy.

This alloy is expensive, but the good news is that it lasts for a long time. If you decide to save money and buy it on AliExpress, you will quickly be disappointed, since it is not sold there.

To protect adjacent elements from melting and slipping when soldering with a hairdryer, they can be covered with heat-resistant tape (also known as polyimide or Kapton).

It is used to protect plastic elements from melting and fix SMD components when soldering with a hair dryer or IR station. It is often used in smartphones and tablets themselves to isolate and fix structural elements.

Copper braid.

To remove excess solder, you will need copper braiding. Without it, it is sometimes very difficult to remove excess or solder jumpers between the contacts of the microUSB connector.

Copper braiding can be purchased on AliExpress, where it will cost you less, and there is more choice than in retail or online spare parts stores.

Adhesive for mounting touchscreens.

To install or “glue” touchscreens, you can use different adhesives (B7000, E8000, T-7000). In my practice I use B-7000 glue. It dries quickly and is easy to “soften” with light heat if suddenly something goes wrong and the touchscreen needs to be re-glued.

Nippers or side cutters for working with electronics and precision mechanics.

To remove faulty microUSB connectors, it is very convenient to use side cutters. Best choice There will be high-quality side cutters from well-known brands. For quite a long time I used Pro"sKit 1PK-717 wire cutters. They are quite good and inexpensive, suitable for working with electronics. Unfortunately, anything harder than copper is too tough for them. Their tips break off and dismantling small elements with such wire cutters becomes a real punishment.

After some time, I decided to buy a better instrument. The choice fell on side cutters KRAFTOOL KARBMAX 22018-5-13 with tungsten carbide inserts. At that time their cost was 1600 rubles.

These are expensive and professional German side cutters, designed specifically for work with electronics and precision mechanics. According to the sellers, these are often bought by those who repair smartphones.

We repair a cell phone

In most cases, breakdowns cell phones They are quite easy to fix and boil down to replacing the display, speaker, all kinds of cables and body elements. In the vast majority of cases, complex soldering of any elements is not required. The repair process is limited to replacing the display or cable, which is connected to the printed circuit board of the cell phone via a connector. Cleaning is also required quite often printed circuit board cell phone from corrosion and oxides. In this case, labor-intensive soldering of microcircuits and other elements is not required.

But there are breakdowns in which it is necessary to replace a microcircuit or solder some element on the printed circuit board of a cell phone (SIM card holder, battery connector, power connector, etc.).

To successfully repair cell phones, you naturally need a special tool. In addition, you also need consumables that should be on hand during the repair process.

When equipping one workplace according to service repair Cell phones require several devices. Let's list them. We will not consider devices required for software repair of cell phones.

For professional cell phone repair, of course, you need to get a soldering station. All radio elements on the cell phone circuit board are surface mounted, and the radio elements have extremely small dimensions. When soldering such tiny (SMD) components, you should monitor the soldering temperature and try not to overheat the electronic components. The soldering temperature of electronic components should not exceed 240 0 -260 0 C. If the critical temperature is exceeded, there is a high probability of damage to the electronic component.

The soldering station has all the necessary functions for working with small-sized parts. This includes adjusting the temperature of the soldering iron tip within the range of 200 0 – 480 0 C, digital indication of the temperature of the soldering iron, the ability to use all kinds of tips for any work. It is also worth noting that a conventional electric soldering iron is not galvanically isolated from the electrical network, which increases the likelihood of damage to sensitive electronic elements on the mobile phone circuit board. Therefore, a regular electric soldering iron is not suitable for repairing cell phones.

Hot air soldering station.

There are two approaches to soldering surface mount elements (SMD, BGA). The first is hot air soldering and the second is infrared soldering. Despite the fact that soldering with infrared (IR) radiation has many advantages over soldering with hot air, hot air soldering stations are more widely available. This is probably due to the fact that they have a simpler design and are several times cheaper than infrared soldering stations. It should also be noted that infrared soldering stations are more suitable for repairing motherboards of laptops and large computers.

IN motherboards computers and laptops use microcircuits that have larger linear dimensions than the microcircuits on the circuit board of cell phones, and during dismantling, uniform and larger heating of the microcircuits is required. Infrared soldering stations precisely have such qualities as uniform heating.

Unlike infrared soldering stations, hot-air soldering stations heat the soldered element less evenly. In addition, when working with a hot-air soldering station, it is necessary to monitor the speed of hot air flow. If you set the air flow rate too high, then during soldering it is easy to “blow away” neighboring elements and heating of the element will be uneven due to the presence of hot air turbulence. If you reduce the air flow rate, then the heating of the soldered part will occur more slowly due to the fact that still air is a heat insulator.

Despite the negative qualities of hot air soldering, hot air soldering stations are actively used when repairing cell phones. The small size of printed circuit boards of cell phones and electronic components on them allows for fairly high-quality installation and disassembly of microcircuits and small-sized elements. Of course, during the repair process it is worth correctly setting the speed of hot air supply through the hair dryer nozzle and the heating temperature of the air.

Why is it needed? device for bottom heating of circuit boards ? Oddly enough, but when repairing portable electronics - laptops, mobile phones, PDAs - the device is very necessary. Here's the thing.

If it is necessary to dismantle any part from the device’s printed circuit board, it is necessary to heat the element to the melting temperature of the solder. Since in portable electronics SMT elements and BGA microcircuits are very widely used, then when soldering with hot air you have to warm up the microcircuit body first, and only then the contacts themselves. Naturally, heat transfer occurs from the heated microcircuit to the printed circuit board. This leads to the need to heat the soldered element for a long time, which can lead to overheating.

In addition to overheating of electronic components, there is also the possibility of damage to the printed circuit board. When heated unevenly, it begins to warp, deformation and delamination occur. If you sharply heat a printed circuit board to a temperature of more than 280 0 C, it will swell. In the future, it will not be possible to eliminate such deformation of the printed circuit board. For smooth and uniform heating of the printed circuit board, a bottom heating station is used.

When replacing elements such as, for example, the SIM card retainer, the bottom heating of the board is very convenient. Before soldering the faulty fastener, the printed circuit board is heated using a bottom heating station for the boards to a temperature of 120 0 - 140 0 C. In this case, the solder at the place where the contacts are soldered warms up and for its final reflow it will require short-term soldering with hot air using a hot air gun. If you solder the retainer only using a hot-air soldering station, then prolonged exposure to hot air will deform the plastic base of the SIM card retainer. It is clear that when replacing joysticks, the lower heating station will also make the work easier and allow it to be done more efficiently.

When restoring the operation of cell phones, you will definitely need power unit . It can be used to charge a discharged battery mobile phone or power the device being repaired. In some cases, during repairs, it is necessary to control the current consumed by a cell phone. Therefore, it is desirable that the power supply have a built-in ammeter. Preference should be given to devices with a dial ammeter, since ammeters with digital display are more inert.

For convenience, you can use a regular working battery from any cell phone. Conductors with alligator clips are soldered to its terminals (there are three of them). This universal battery can be used to repair any cell phone. The main thing is to be able to correctly connect the clamps to the power connector of the cell phone being repaired and to charge such a universal battery from time to time.

In many cases, a universal battery is enough to diagnose a cell phone malfunction and check its serviceability. In this case, a stationary power supply may not be required at all.

Ultrasonic bath (USB).

It's no secret that one of the common causes of mobile phone malfunctions is exposure to water. Since a cell phone is constantly turned on and has an autonomous power supply, even with a short-term exposure to water, traces of electrochemical corrosion appear on the metal surfaces and contacts of the printed circuit board. The difficulty of restoring the operation of “drowned” phones is that the printed circuit board of a mobile phone is multi-layered, and many microcircuits are mounted on the board using the BGA method, which makes it difficult to clean the contacts located under the microcircuit body. Manual cleaning of the printed circuit board with special cleaning sprays or alcohol does not always lead to success and the cell phone does not always restore its functionality.

For deeper cleaning of corrosion and restoration of phone boards - “drowned” - are used ultrasonic baths (UZV). The cleaning agent is poured into the ultrasonic bath. Under the influence of ultrasonic waves, microbubbles appear in the liquid, which, collapsing and moving chaotically, effectively clean all elements damaged by corrosion. Ultrasound accelerates chemical and physical processes, and the use of a special cleaning liquid promotes high-quality cleaning. Using an ultrasonic bath, you can restore the operation of a seemingly hopeless cell phone.

Multimeter.

Multimeter in the workshop - this is already a classic. Any technician who repairs electronics always has a multifunctional tester in his workshop, with which you can measure voltage, current, resistance, and conduct a “continuity test” of contacts. And if the multimeter also contains a thermocouple, then it can measure the temperature of a printed circuit board or electronic component during repair work.

This is just an approximate answer to the question of what equipment a workshop needs to have to repair cell phones. Many of the listed devices will not be needed immediately, but as you grow professionally and develop your business. It is also worth noting that the devices necessary for software repairs are not considered here.

Do not forget that in the process of hardware repair, consumables are needed: flux, solder paste, cleaner, etc.

Naturally, to repair phones you need tools and equipment. Moreover, the more complex the repair is, the more complex and expensive equipment will be needed. You can't get by with screwdrivers alone. So, I'll start with the bare minimum:

1. Screwdriver Set. To begin with, you will need ordinary flat and figured (Phillips) screwdrivers, preferably small ones + at least 3 star-type screwdrivers. They have exactly the same shape and differ only in size. First we need sizes T5, T6, T7. These are the most popular screw sizes for mobile phones and similar equipment. You can also purchase a set of screwdrivers, which immediately contains all the necessary types of replaceable attachments. The inconvenience of such a set is that you often have to change the attachments.

2. Scalpel. An indispensable thing for stripping wires, tracks, etc. You can buy it at any pharmacy. It is preferable, of course, to use old domestic scalpels, since they are practically eternal. The current ones become dull very quickly and all sorts of nicks appear on the blade.

3. Set of tweezers . It is advisable to have at least 2 types: straight and curved. You will appreciate the advantages of each during the renovation process. You can get by with just one, but in some cases you just need to crawl into a hard-to-reach place with the help of one or the other.

4. Pencil-eraser-brush . A very convenient thing. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary pencil, but instead of the usual rod, it has a rod made of an eraser (eraser). Designed to clean contact surfaces from oxides, dirt, stains, etc. After this treatment, the contacts look like new – shiny and beautiful. On the back side of the pencil there is a brush, which is very convenient for sweeping away “erasing products”, as well as regular saws and similar dirt that accumulates during the use of the phone.

5. Toothbrush– new or used (most importantly, not vice versa). Designed mainly to remove small oxides resulting from moisture entering the phone. Used in conjunction with special liquid (“wash”).

6. Multimeter- a very necessary device. The method of different measurements allows you to learn a lot about the condition of the phone and is one of the main devices in diagnosing faults and repairing the phone. The multimeter model is not critical, since all have the necessary functions. I’ll just say that you shouldn’t buy the cheapest “China” ones, as they are unreliable and the measurement readings are not always accurate.

7. Universal mains charger . Also a must have in your arsenal. Allows you to charge any battery of a cell phone or digital camera, which is very important during the repair process. After all, devices often arrive with discharged batteries and without their standard charger (over time, of course, you need to acquire all possible chargers, preferably original ones). This is where this SZU, popularly called “crab”, “frog”, etc., comes to the rescue.

8. Thermal air Soldering Station . Required. Without it, complex repairs (with resoldering of chips, filters, etc.) cannot be done. Designed for dismantling and subsequent installation of chips in a BGA case (and there are practically no others in a modern phone) by heating it with a stream of directed hot air with adjustable flow force and temperature.

9. Microscope.Required for thorough visual inspection mobile phone circuit boards and its components during the repair process, as well as when performing delicate work using soldering, precision installation of BGA chips and other elements (positioning) into their seats, as well as subsequent control. You can choose a suitable microscope on the websiteoptical instruments in Rostov-on-Don.

10. Card holder. An indispensable thing when repairing complex microelectronics. Allows you to securely hold boards of different sizes, thereby facilitating the work of the master, since there is no need to hold the board with your hand. Structurally, they come in a variety of configurations and sizes.

11. Ultrasonic bath (USB)
. Without it, about repairing cell phones that have been exposed to moisture, water, beer, J coffee, etc. you can forget. We all know that electronics are not friendly with water and its derivatives. Numerous oxides with their miracles instantly appear along all circuits (especially the supply ones). It is impossible to clean such a board using the usual dry mechanical method. You have to resort to special cleaning. liquids using a rough brush. By the way, I’ll say right away - all kinds of colognes and alcohol are not suitable!!! But, more often than not, this cleaning method is ineffective, since moisture penetrates into all possible and impossible places and brings us, repairmen, many problems. But not everything is so bad if you have an ultrasonic bath. Again, a warning - the well-known “Retona” is not what we need and has nothing to do with our business.
Very easy to use and relatively reliable under normal use. It works something like this: either only distilled water is poured into the bath itself, or the same water is poured into it, but with a small addition of various products that make washing the board a little easier. These are different solvents like “Mr. Muscle”, “FAIRY” and the like. The level fills approximately a little more than half of the bath. Next, the previously soaked and oxidized board is placed in the bath, and then the ultrasonic cleaning process itself is started.

Such RAS most often have two fixed power levels - usually 30W and 50-60W, which are turned on separately. The ultrasonic cleaning process looks like this: a radiating element (piezoquartz) is rigidly attached to the bottom of the bath itself, which emits vibrations with a frequency of approximately 40 - 60 KHz and mechanically transmits them through the bottom of the bath itself to the liquid that is poured into it. Further, due to cavitation (cavitation is the propagation of sound waves in a liquid), the board is washed, as well as the splitting and destruction of the formed oxides and sulfations on the surface of the board and elements.

Special care An ultrasonic bath is not required. The main thing is to prevent liquid from spilling inside the case, otherwise failure is inevitable. If the case is not sealed, it is advisable to do this in advance with a regular sealant. It is also not recommended to turn on the RAS idle or with a liquid level much lower than average, since the piezoelement will be heavily loaded and may fail prematurely.

12. BGA - stencils and BGA - paste . It is unlikely to be a useful necessity for beginners, but if you plan to seriously engage in reballing BGA chips, then you simply need these materials.

And here's why. The design feature of microcircuits in a BGA package provides for the absence of the usual contact pins, which can be soldered with an ordinary thin soldering iron. Flat contact pads are located on the bottom of the case, and soldering of such a chip to the board is carried out by applying solder to the contact pads. As a result, they look like small balls, which must be the same size and shape. After which such a microcircuit is installed in its place and, after the solder melts, it settles a little, as a result of which the gap between the microcircuit and the board remains very tiny - just the size of the settled solder balls.

The fact is that if it becomes necessary to dismantle a BGA chip, then the molten solder balls will break off when the chip is removed. One part of the solder remains on the board, the other on the chip itself. It is impossible to install such a chip back without preparing (rolling) new contact solder balls. For this we need stencils and solder paste for BGA reballing.

As for solder paste for rolling new balls on BGA chips, the choice here is made after testing several brands and types. As they say - to each his own. Some people need it thicker, others more liquid.

13. No-clean flux-gel . Used for soldering radio-electronic components. It has a high boiling point, so it is excellent for mounting chips in BGA packages with a short distance between the contact ball pins and the board surface. No-clean means it has no chemical activity after soldering and, accordingly, does not cause corrosive damage to the soldered elements in the event that it is impossible to remove flux residues. Also, after hardening, the flux forms a certain film on the elements and between them, which provides additional protection against oxidation and moisture.

14. Braid for desoldering . Designed for preparing soldering areas and used to remove excess solder on contact pads. Ideal for preparing solder joints for BGA chips.

15. Electric soldering iron 25W and 40W. For soldering massive discrete elements with large heat dissipation. They are used less frequently in mobile phone repair, but they are definitely needed. For example, they warm up the seats of charging connectors, headsets, etc. well.

16. Power supply (PSU)
. When repairing phones, and not only, it is simply necessary. When diagnosing and repairing, it becomes necessary to power the device from the power supply in order to monitor certain processes, as well as in the event of a complete discharge of the battery or its absence. Suitable for our purposes adjustable block power supply with an output voltage of 0 - 15 Volts and a current of 1 Ampere or more. When choosing a power supply, you should pay attention to the presence of voltage and current indicators in it, since during diagnostics and repairs we need to control these parameters. PSUs with digital and analog (arrow) indicators are sold. So, it is preferable to have a power supply with analog indicators, since they are visually much more informative, especially with rapidly changing processes due to their very low inertia. Digital indicators are not always able to display changes in one or another parameter and, most often, display only extreme values.

Most often, power supplies are supplied with only a power cord, and at the output there are only terminals-clamps for connecting the connecting wires with which the consumer will be connected. It is very convenient to connect red and black wires to the “+” and “-” terminals, respectively, at the ends of which fasten small alligator clips.

17. Oscilloscope
– an electronic device that is designed to measure and subsequently visually display on the screen a wide variety of quantities and signals, their amplitude and shape. There are the most different types. Special requirements for this device no, the main thing is that it is in good working order and has a bandwidth of at least 50 - 100 MHz. Well, which one to choose? cathode ray tube or with LCD, big or small – it’s up to you. Here the question is the price and your capabilities.

18. Computer with Internet access. It all depends on your preferences. As for the computer, it is for repair that high performance is not required. The main thing is that programs load quickly and it is comfortable to work in them. There is only one caveat: to work with phones that require updating or restoring software, the computer must be protected from accidental power surges in the network or even shutting it off. For these purposes it is necessary to use the source uninterruptible power supply(UPS) or, preferably, a laptop. For software repair It is recommended to have a separate computer on which only programs for working with the appropriate programmers are installed and, of course, a set of all the latest firmware for the maximum possible number of phones. In any case, if the computer is connected to the Internet, downloading this or that firmware will not be difficult.

19. Set of programmers for software repair of cell phones. There are a large number of programmers, both universal - with support for a large number of phone brands, and designed for a specific brand (manufacturer) of phones. There is no single best one. Therefore, before purchasing, you need to familiarize yourself with the capabilities of several and choose according to your financial capabilities and, accordingly, your repair needs. And, as necessary, purchase the necessary programmers.

Are you thinking about how to open a phone repair shop? Detailed instructions, calculation tables and useful tips for you in this article.

Two forms of opening a service center

This business is good because it allows entrepreneurs to choose what exactly to open:

    Legal service center.

You register as an individual entrepreneur, rent an office with a specific legal address, pay taxes, etc.
This method is suitable for both craftsmen who intend to repair phones themselves, and managers who want to perform only an intermediary function.

    Illegal workshop.

Let's say you are good at repairing phones and other equipment.
Friends and acquaintances know this and regularly give you work, agreeing to pay for it.
All repair work can be carried out right at home, and you can search for clients using word of mouth.
This method is not suitable for managers.

Two types of phone repair service center

All workshops are divided into two types:

You cooperate with a specific manufacturer, order spare parts from them, report on the work done, perform warranty service for phones, etc.

You are not accountable to anyone and undertake to repair any phone models that clients bring to you.
In this case, difficulties may arise when ordering spare parts, and there will be no one to get advice from.

How to advertise a phone repair service center?

Such a modest business does not require a large advertising campaign.

All you need is:

  • distribute business cards to all your potential and existing clients;
  • provide information on your page in in social networks that you have opened a workshop, and ask your friends to spread this information;
  • register on a local forum and tell the residents of your city that such a service is now available to them.

If you can fix most cell phone breakdowns and charge a reasonable price for it, then you can be sure that you will soon have a lot of customers.
