I have no experience working with TaoBao and Chinese intermediaries, since I prefer to buy branded items on American sites, including in closed shopping clubs (closed sale stores) - a good folding knife. I rarely use it, because... not often when traveling. So far very pleased. - headset for telephone Windows Mobile. Unlike the broken HTC DoPod, this one does not have a Mute button or lock all buttons. And the Forward and Back buttons are not very friendly with Windows Mobile 6.5.5.

Universal charger for phones - does the job. I used it for Chinese Star G5 phones, whose cables and/or connectors break all the time. It charges normally, but I'm afraid that the contacts can be easily mixed up. Because of versatility, you have to sacrifice something.

Star G5 TV is a phone with two SIM cards and color TV. Despite good feedback, I didn’t like the phone at all (my relatives and I had 4 of them, so I’m not judging by a single copy). I don’t look towards Chinese phones anymore.

Let me summarize. Ordering cosplay costumes, clothes and other “trifles” from Japan is unreasonable in terms of delivery costs and time spent. It’s easier and cheaper to find analogues on Aliexpress. But the quality of electronics and gadgets in Japan has no equal - such a purchase is completely justified.
