As you can see, the zener diode has some stabilization voltage spread: 7.1-7.9 V. It is used in the circuit to power the logic circuits of the K176 series.
Most likely, replacing the KS175Zh with a zener diode with a voltage of 8.5V will not affect the operation of the charger in any way.

I got to repair KEDR AUTO 12V, I don’t know the year. I will not speak for all CEDARs, only on the example of this instance. Printed circuit board and wiring diagram according to Fig. 10. Schematic diagram - fully complies with Fig. 7. Diagram Fig. 3 contains obvious errors, the connection of the DD4 - K176TM2 chip is incorrectly shown. There, even for the DD4.2 part, the legs of the microcircuit are incorrectly numbered. In my copy, it was this microcircuit that failed, I had to figure it out. As shown in the diagram in Fig. 3, the node on the DD4 chip cannot work correctly. It would be better to remove it .... the diagram in Fig. 3.
